Ayurvedic Lettuce and Tomato Salad:
- Lettuce: half – finely chopped
- Tomato: 1 medium sized tomato finely chopped
- Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black pepper
- Coriander: finely chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- Mix lettuce and tomato first in a salad bowl
- Sprinkle lemon juice on top and mix well
- Add salt and black pepper
- And finish off by garnishing with chopped coriander
- Usually served with Kitchadi or Indian Stir Fry and Chapathis
- It can also enjoyed on its own
